Drawlloween 2017 – Day 26: I know a sarcophoguy

Drawlloween2017, Day 26 is:

I KNOW A SARCOPHOGUY

Today’s punny prompt struck me as the kind of like a 60s screwball comedy about a harried account executive #mummy with a #sarcophagus or two, and I also wanted to mix up my increasingly predictable art style to something new, so here’s a Saul Bass inspired design for the movie poster of just such a non-existent film. (I chose to go with the traditional spelling of “sarcophagus” with the “Sarcophaguy” pun, though.)

Drawlloween 2016: Days 28 and 29

Day 28 calls for: GHOSTS A GO GO

Day 29 specifies: BLACK CATURDAY

The go-go dancers implied in this prompt necessitated some early 60s dance moves and surroundings for the spirits.

To complete the crossover in the sketchbook spread, I decided on “cat” as a slang term for a cool dude from the following decade and drew the cat in the finest 70s blaxploitation environment I could mange quickly on a Saturday afternoon. Groovy and Solid!
